IS 200 turbo orangevirus flash question
I have a 2016 Is200t and have been looking at different tuners for my car. I am considering the VRtuner but recently came across this site and wanted to see if anyone has used this or if anyone has any information about it besides what is listed on the site.

Lexus IS200T Remote Tuning ECU and Transmission Tune Package 2016+
Looks legit and they say that their flash will get rid of the dreaded 30percent power till 4k rpm. Anyone tried this yet?

That thread contains a lot of information on performance tunes that members and myself have tested and reviewed.

Still curious maybe even a bit skeptical about the 30% thing. How does Lexus claim full 258 lbs of torque is made at below 2k rpm (I think 1,450?) if the throttle is limited to 30%? Either the 30% thing is false, or Lexus is falsely advertising (even worse).
Any thoughts, tuner bros?

I made peak torque after 3K on stock and tuned. I can't ensure that the 30% claim is true or not but another ECU flash tuner (TTI Motorsports) said that there was a delay in throttle as well.

The tune is still in development as per the 'IS200t tune' thread. I will be purchasing it when it's out. By then, there should be a 93oct variant of it (I believe the current one is 91oct). I'll be making a thread detailing everything.

OP I cannot wait to save up money and get this myself. I have heard some negative things about the VR Tuning version....I would not recommend it personally.

It is currently available on the Orange Virus Tuning website. You can either get the tune by itself or as a package with a transmission tune.

after looking at that data log again, its almost as if the ecu has a calculated load and when it hits 100% engine load it modulates Throttle Position to keep it at their preferred 100%load. It would be nice to see what would happen if we could manually hold the throttle body open, I imagine this one is electronic. I mean in the middle of what I imagine is a 100% WOT you are only getting 100%TP during spool or loading of the engine. How does the engine hold boost? Does it peak and taper off or does it stay flat? that dip from 3-4k looks almost as if the transmission is down shifting, because look at the second pull that dip is not there, but im just speculating I dont know whats actually going on during this log. I'm more interested in not getting 100% throttle through out the whole pull.
