Hello,
New to the forum- just acquired a 2014 IS350 F sport -white on black
Has anyone of you members removed those plastic protective film on the rear doors and quarters?
I've read after time it will eventually turn yellowish?????
Thanks in advance.

i removed mine after 1year of use. I have Ultra white and got tired of the black line that outlines each piece of film. Never comes completely clean. Don't miss them.

I cleaned mine and they turned out great. I used Q-tips and rubbing alcohol and it didn't take that long. Here's the before and after.

High impact area for rock chips. Your front wheels may pick up rocks and chuck them in that direction to that spot. I'll leave it on.
And..looks like it can be cleaned with just a little patience. (JDR76's pic)
I even got these installed on my side mirrors and trunk by factory too !

My car when the previous owner had it rubbed up against a parking garage pillar and needed paintwork on that area of the wheel arch.
The Lexus dealer contracted bodyshop didn't replace that protective film and there are a lot of chips there now. I did touch ups with a paint pen in the fall. Defintely leave it on, it has function.
