When runnning very low pro and stretched tires, its smart to run high psi to avoid bent wheels if ever hitting potholes, etc. With lower psi on low pro tires/stretch tires, the rubber play will be too soft, wheels will bend and stretch tires will debead.

you just pointed out something interesting Khang, yep you're totally correct but thats prefer for aftermarket wheels, OEM has its own OEM specs that's why we must stay within OEM Sticker that sticks on the door, over or under PSI will damage your tires ( If you have a custom wheel set with custom suspension setting that's different story) we're discussing about OEM PSI, for regular aftermarket wheel i have on my Solara RTX 225/45/17 i run 36-38 PSI still within TRD Toyota Specs, i've been driven this TRD Toyota like this for 15-16 years. the Drop is exactly same as F-sport springs on Lexus IS with Camber kit installed. Absolutely no weird noise in suspension.

Toyota Engineer said, no matter if your wheels are OEM or aftermarket, if you want low profile sport suspension you are running risk of damaging wheel or tires and tread, avoid the potholes and slow on bump if you can. he said if i we want to sport that what we'll get or drive a Camry and ES with 205/60/16 wheel.

Should our car require a bit higher psi when it’s equipped with extra load tire? I am using Michelin PS4 and seems many people put 38-40.
