2015 Lexus IS 250 Front Bumper Change
Rear-ended someone during my commute home from work after a snowstorm and need to replace my base model front bumper.
I've always wanted to change it to the F-sport version and finally have an opportunity, but there was a lack of information on the web.
I'm going to be taking the car to a local shop but was wondering if there are any specifics in going about asking them to convert my base front bumper to the F-sport one.
1. Is it better for me to provide them with an aftermarket part that includes the entire conversion kit or is it better for them to just order the parts from their suppliers and convert it?
2. Would I be paying around the same price for the conversion as opposed to just getting it fixed back to the base bumper?
(To clarify -- Since I'm going to be getting my front bumper fixed anyways, would the price of wanting to convert it cost the same as regularly fixing it with the base model or would there be an extra fee added on to the repair cost to make the conversion happen onto my model?)
