differential noise pls help

My 2014 IS250 is making a lot of noise in the back i jacked the car from the back turn the tires the differential gear making the noise is this normal or its time to take if to the dealer.. it has 42000 miles only.. pls help

Without actually hearing the noise it's hard to say.
There is some natural noise the diff. will make when the wheels are turned with the backend off the ground.
There is clearance between the various gears in the diff. that will make a clanging/rattling type noise when you turn the wheels back and forth off the ground.
What noise are you hearing when you're driving?
