Default 30k lease and 30k service?

Let's say I have a 3 year, 30k mile lease
I return the car with 29,900 miles.
Do I have to do the 30k service?
What if I return the car with 28,000 miles?

Do they expect it to be done because the car is at the 3 year mark regardless of miles?

If it's not at the time or mileage you shouldn't have to do it.

Nope. I wouldn't do it. Most people don't perform the service intervals on the dot, so I wouldn't sweat it.

just do your oil changes and you will be fine. that is the most important thing to do after all. you are not required to do any final services or big interval services before you return your lease.

The 30k service is little more than an oil change and a brake fluid flush. That being said... Don't do it. It's a waste of your money.

no need. I'm sure they'll take care of it all once you return it.
