I recently purchased a 2014 Lexus IS250. During the test drive the navigation was working and while waiting for paper works and bank works to be done I had to attend a wedding next. After purchasing the vehicle I didnt get the chance to drive it for 3 days. By the time I got free time aka driving to work I notice my navigation doesnt work or should I say doesnt turn on/exist! I tried to look for it on the main menu but found nothing! I went through each and every option on the main screen, I press every button that there was to the main screen and nothing. I even had it updated twice!
Is there a delete button that is hiding my navigation?
There is no button to hide the navigation. If you press the MENU button above the joystick, you should see the screen below: #2 is the Navigation...if you don't see this, take it back to the dealer. Assuming you are absolutely sure it has navigation.
Never heard of navigation option disappearing. If the SD card for maps is missing, you'll get an error screen. Like mentioned earlier, do you have a round **** or square nub controller?
I actually had a similar mixup issue, where I test drove one car, drove home in another, yet they "sold" me the one I test drove. (I test drove an Atomic Silver - Black interior, drove home in one with a Rioja Red interior.) It was a mess, but there was only about a $30 price difference between the two and no noticeable differences in features.
You should have noticed right away that the control **** was different though, but that's beside the point. Make sure the VIN on your car matches the one on your paperwork.

lol, how did you not notice the red interior, when you had wanted/bought the black interior?
I wanted the red interior. I took a brief look at the car but didn't actually take it for a test drive since it was pretty much identical to the one with the black interior.
