I recently bought a BRAND NEW Lexus the 8th in succession.The new IS 2017 model lists Adaptive cruise control, Speedlimit signs in the dashboard and voice commands and all the three do not work as they should
I just traded AN LS 600 for the IS as down sizing hence I know what all the three functions are
1.ACC Adaptive Cruise Control stops working below 30mph
2.Speed Limit Display give s random reading from 30 to 130!!!
3. If i need to suspend guidance during driving I could do it in my earlier cars and also the present NX but NOT in IS. This is dangerous as i have to do it manually while driving

I am in the UK but all Lexus cars are basically same with diff specifications

1. Its called DRCC (Dynamic Radar Cruise Control), it stops functioning below 25mph. If you want something that adjust speed ALL THE WAY DOWN TO 0MPH, you need that ALL-SPEED RADAR CRUISE. Not available for the IS.

3. To cancel the route guidance via voice the command is.. "Delete Destination".

• To CORRECTLY use the voice command system, the car needs to hear specific key words (look in manual)
• Might also want to do the VOICE RECOGNITION to tailor your voice to the car.
  • Start from MENU
  • SETUP
  • VOICE
  • GO DOWN 1 PAGE
  • "TRAIN VOICE RECOGNITION"
  • REPEAT the 10 phrases.
