Post 3IS Lease Deals?

I'm looking into leasing a Lexus within the next few months. I was thinking of going in November/December as it will be perfect for me. I have a few questions, when are the IS going to be on a really great sale? I'm particularly interested in the IS350 F-Sport. When should I be able to get a good deal on a Lexus? What month should I be looking at to get a deal at? Please help me out, hopefully I look forward to joining this forum and being active if I do get the car.

** Please don't tell me about the current lease deals, I know about them **
Would November/December be a good time to go and lease a lexus?

I'd be interested in doing the following:
Putting $5,000 down upfront (The reason I am putting this much is because I am 19 and want a cheaper monthly payment as I am young)

What monthly payment do you think I should have if I did put $5k down? I want 10k/ miles yearly.
My credit score is in the 750's as well.

$5K down is a huge mistake. Never, ever put that much down on a lease. I bought my 2016 in October. $51K MSRP, I got it out the door for $41K...that included everything. We got my wife one too on a lease. 300 F sport. $2K down, 12K miles a year, wear and tear package for $395 a month. Every option available on hers.

That sounds like a pretty good deal...I got my IS300 non f sport for 2.5k down $359/month with the same miles. I agree that you should aim to do $0 down for leases.

Break2, like I've said before, out the door 41k is an amazing deal! Congrats (wish I got a deal like that)

OP, 5k down? If you lease for 36 months, add 138 dollars to your monthly payments if you get the "payment" you're looking for since you're putting 5k down on a lease.

Absolutely horrible idea to put that much down on a lease, aim for 0. Is this your first vehicle?

on a side note, I don't know what you do or anything but this may be a poor financial choice to make at 19. why not invest the money? If you have the excess funds laying around then by all means go for it and get the car you wish, but otherwise I'd probably think twice about getting into one. Your liquid assets will take you much further later down the line!

I've thought Break2 had BOUGHT the car for 41k otd. But, I'm getting to assumption that he leased the car. Lexus do better numbers/discount with lease vs purchasing is what I found. Still good sht on a 51k car.

I see how you reading that lol. I believe he mentioned he purchased it on another thread unless I'm mistaken. That's an amazing deal though literally 20% off MSRP and OTD too.

Your credit score won't do any good without some solid history btw.

It all depends how much you negotiate the purchase price of the vehicle. a fully loaded IS350 F sport costs around 50k and which could be purchased for around 40K (doesn't include tax since you are leasing, only on the monthly payment). Always put lowest amount possible, unlike financing a car where downpayment goes towards your principle, all you are doing it paying your payments early.

So for 40K vehicle with around 2000k down, 36 month lease and 12k mileage/year you are looking around $400 or little less/month including tax. I believe Lexus have an offer Lexus Cash Back for about $3,000 which could be used as your downpayment. So no money down.
