Don't bend/warp your headliner
Try detaching the back of the headliner too (only 3 tabs). It'll lower the headliner a lot more for easier access to the antenna bolt. The longer you have something wedged in there to push down the headliner, the more it'll warp. Especially if you're working in the heat.
