Default Is 350 f sport exhaust possible issue

Hi guys,

Recently, I've noticed my exhaust would release some sort of noise as if there were trap gas when I'm not accelerating. The car was purchased preowned with invidia exhaust tip installed. The car is still under warranty. When I accelerate, I usually don't hear any trap air noise coming out until I started breaking. The noise usually occurs in the morning and it doesnt happen frequent. I just hear it here and there but not sure if it should warrant a dealer visit. Besides the noise, everything runs great. It doesn't shake or has any leakage. Any inputs is welcome. Thanks!

if its a modded exhaust, its normal. switches from port/direct or from slowing down. mine does the same. you wont hear it with the stock exhaust

Is it a popping noise when braking? I have that, but it's because my exhaust had been hit when I ran over something and now hits the underside of the car when I am braking while going downhill. You may want to take a look at the underside of the car for damage. Hopefully it's nothing serious.

I think the previous owner just replaced the exhaust tip. But yeah, it doesn't seem like a big issue. Its not a popping noise..more like the the sound of gas trapped and it gets released after I break/remove my feet from the gas pedal. Unfortunately, it doesnt happen consistent enough where I can record a sound clip.

Does anyone know if I still have to pay diagnostic fee when I run it through the dealer even though it is still under warranty?

Thanks!
