Default Weathertech mats

For those that have them, do they ever go on sale?

Better yet, does anyone have a set for sale in/near the Montreal region?

I'm from Montréal and trust me, I've been looking everywhere and those Weathertech never go on sale. You just have to find a smaller place who will sell them a bit less expensive. Try Prospecs http://www.prospecautomotive.com/
Contact Danny, that's where I buy most my parts.

Also I found another guy from kijiji, he was the less expensive when I bought the weathertech for my wife's bimmer.

Part number PT206-53170-02 might be a cheaper alternative.

Try looking online or asking your local Lexus dealership.

Personally I'd go for OEM all weather mats. Look better and cleaner then weathertech. Material seems better too

With the winter we have here, Weathertech is the way to go. They have the high sidewalls all around to protect from the snow and calcium. For the summer, I switch back to the OEM carpet ones.

Weather tech is quality stuff I use them in all my cars. I honestly don't think I have ever got them on sale though.

There's also 3D Maxpider mats. The are less than the Weathertechs and a little more attractive.
Function is about the same. I have them in my '14 Highlander and they get the job done.
When I was looking last year they didn't have for AWD IS, so you may want to check fitment with them if you decide to order.

Thanks a lot! I just sent him an email now. He has a few ads on Kijiji actually.

It doesn't even compare to Weather Tech...

I'm not sure about the floormats since I don't have the Weathertech one, but I got my Weathertech trunk liner from b2designs who's a vendor here on CL. I got them from him for cheaper than through Weathertech. You should try messaging him and get a quote. Super quick shipping too.

You had to Google it to see that these are not the traditional Lexus weather mats

Different tastes aside, I totally don't agree with this at all. Weathertechs go in both my cars because they simply work. New England winters, salt, slush and sand the Weathertechs hold up very well. The heightened mat walls really keep your underlying carpet protected. The custom fit and finish can't be beat.

I've done a search for the OEM mats and they do not even compare to the Weathertech design. Apples to oranges here, the OEMs in my opinion do not look better nor cleaner and guarantee will not be as effective in harsher climates. Weathertech mats are worth every penny.

Weathertech.com didn't have fitments for 2018 models, so i took a gamble and bought the 2017 model cargo/trunk liner. It fits perfectly in my 2018! In picture it sticks up a tad on the right since i need to give it some time to flatten out since it was rolled up during shipment. I used a razor blade to cut a single slit so i can still access the hooks for the cargo net...

Weathertech's price is $109.95 and no idea if they charge shipping.

I ordered thru https://www.car-truck-accessories.com/
My price thru them was $102.50 and free shipping and no sales tax to California. To get this price, you need to call them and provide them with the year/model of your car and also be sure to make sure they send you Weathertech part# 40663

My family got me the interior set for Christmas, I had never had weather tech before, it is amazing, with the snow and salt that we get here in the Chicagoland area, it would have really put the lexus floor mats to work. but after I swapped them out, its been a breeze to pull out the weather tech ones and spray them off to remove the dirt and salt build up.

The fitment is simply stunning, when I "installed' them, they landed in place perfectly, even taking into account the existing carpeting rebound to ensure that the vertical parts to the tubs were flush and tight fitting so that nothing can get out under the tub.

I love them
