Default Front bumper cover/paint price.

Has anyone had to have their front bumper cover replaced and painted? I am just curious what you had spent on it.

I paid $850 CAD aprox 681 USD. Tri-Coat paint is what makes it expensive.

$180 for bumper, $200 for paint. Yes it’s good quality paint from a local shop, I know the owner, bumper isn’t OEM but fits perfect.

He’s asking for a general quote, not one in which the owner is known.

Anyhow, it cost me around 500$ for paint. I don’t recall how much I spent on the bumper cover but it was Lexus/Toyota OEM.

Just curious, Is it cheaper to replace and paint vs strip the old paint and reprint?

its hard to say because I’ve seen some shops charge by the amount of work while some charge by the hour.

For me, I was quoted $600 to repaint the bumper which included removal of the old paint and repainted in nebula grey pearl (lexus oem color) which is one of the trickier colors to match due to it having 9 different shades in one color code
