Reduced Engine Power?

I took the vehicle in for recall work, told them about the warning light. Service rep came in, took me out to the bay, introduced me to the master technician, who told me there was nothing wrong with the vehicle, engine or tranny. It simply needed a software reset. Zero dollars spent and light hasn’t come on since.

Odd. I don't know that it's normal for a car to "need" a software reset. Wonder if they simply disconnected and reconnected the battery terminal or actually went deeper and reflash the firmware. There should be no scenario possible on a healthy stock car where that light should ever come on. Keep us updated if it happens again! My guess is it will.

Lane Departure Assist Engaged?
Yes.
I was changing lanes on freeway and heard a noise, then the warning came up. Took it to dealer and warning never came on while tech and me test drove. He checked for codes and Lexus opened a ticket. I don't know what code was but he was told to update software. They have an open ticket, but car seems to run great again. Don't know what it could be though...

I never use LDA. Even though the reduced engine power light came on the car seemed to run normal. I just remember a rattling sound when I punched it, then the reduce engine power light came on.

Same Message here
Had the same message come out on my 2017 lx570 ... 3 times in 1 month. Restart the car and everything goes normal again. It's at the dealer now who promised to get this diagnosed and checked!.

Mine's same problem, happened 3 times in 1.5 yrs
First time in Oct. 2018. Same warning message, engine died on the road. Dealer repaired fuel pump and tank.
Second time in April. 2019. Fuel valve replaced.
Yesterday, again. Now in dealer workshop now, wait for result.
Called Lexus Canada and got complain number.
General feeling now is that my car engine can be died any time on the road just like what happened first time. It is safety problem.
It was brand new car bought in July 2017.

It looks like the pressure sensor for the Intercooler.

blame it on the throttle control I had.
they 'disconnected' it but I still see the LEDs on the throttle control so I confirmed that they disconnected the wrong thing, which is the piggyback ECU which I had.
I went to the installer workshop which they correctly disconnected the throttle control but plug back the piggyback ECU.
the error code came back again today and I am driving in limp mode.
I have the piggyback ECU and the throttle control for awhile w/o any issues though till recently.
I am quite sure it wasnt due to the modifications.

Was this issue ever resolved? I have an IS300 F sport 2018 and I am currently going through this issue. At the dealership, they cleared the codes and told me there was nothing they could do because they could not duplicate the issue when driving it.
