Lexus offering December to Remember event http://www.lexus.com/offers
For IS, offering a lease deal or 1.9% financing , but MUST take delivery by 11/30/17.
Dealer is telling me car will "hopefully be here in December..."
Hmmmm

I'd start shopping around for a dealer that can get you the car you want, when you want it, at the right price. I had to do the same when the bozo at my dealership couldn't do a simple upper midwest dealer search and arrange trade - oh well, his loss.
These things are not unobtanium, there is plenty of supply.

Lexus Champion
Active Sound Control and the Intake Sound Generator are not the same thing. Lexus uses ASC on some models where there is no sound generator. ASC uses the vehicle's speakers. The Intake Sound Generator is purely mechanical and does not use the speakers.

congrats on the purchase!
If its any reassurance to you, I have a '15 IS350 f-sport. The car has been perfect except for some faulty USB ports which were covered under the warranty.
The power is enough to keep you happy and you don't have to worry about breaking it whenever you unleash it.
Be sure to check this forum from time to time. The people here are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable.

I'm dropping off a $500 deposit at the dealer tomorrow so they can get the car i want reallocated from another dealer to my local dealer since its currently on the boat right now. I will haggle price when i get there Friday and i expect to get a good price since i got almost $5K off MSRP on a 2016 RX350 i bought from them, plus i referred 2 friends to them.

Yes has everything i wanted, but they're including the Trunk Mat and Cargo Net which i didn't ask for. Close enough....
Are these cars manufactured in Japan or Canada? My RX was manufacturered in Canada...

I dunno if I'd go in with the mindset that I'm dropping of a check, and I'll haggle the price when I get there to do it. Personally I'd recommend an agreed upon price before you invest the trip - thy should be able to do that quickly with a couple of calls. Another thing that had me switch dealers was the winner knew how to deal with the informed internet guy that was bringing full cash on the barrel and just wanted what he wanted at a fair price. We worked out a fair deal from first contact in 2 hours. I never saw that particular car (2017 300 F-sport, Ultrawhite, Rioja Red interior) until I showed up for delivery.

I'm pondering the pre-paid Lexus maintenance package if the sales person offers me a good deal on it. I asked the service department at Santa Monica Lexus to give me the out of pocket cost for all scheduled maintenance up to 90K miles on a 2017 IS 350 and see attached spreadsheet.
Total cost is $4908
If you skip all the non-oil change services which works out to be $920 , the total will be $3988.00
