I missed the part where you swapped the bumper -- is that your car in that pic? Looks like you're all done except for wiring? Looks good if that's your car. Would love to see all the swap details of the bumper too.

Also remember a while ago we had that discussion on whether or not the hoods were different--anyone confirm that yet? Does the 17+ hood have a bulge/raise on top when compared to the 14-16?

Yes this is my car, wiring is also complete with the exception of hyper flashing turn signals. I will need to add some resistors due to the led’s. I also get a message on my dashboard to check headlight system. I have to look into this as well. Light functions great. New bumper aligns well with the hood, I would think they are the same. Don’t know about a bulge in the center. The swap is expensive and requires everything that has to do with the front bumper. Bumper, all grille components including emblem, new hardware, etc. you will need to change parts from the inside behind the bumper, radiator cover and vents, splash shield for left and right wheel. Headlight and DRLs. The wiring is difficult. I will post a full detail later.
I also retrofitted the read end. I will post about this later.

no need to change the hood or Fenders.
However most of the front end needs replacement.
Bumper, Grilles, lights including DRLs, Front under carriage, Crash bar, Air vents, wheel underlinment radiator cover. And a few little items.

So where do you buy 2017 front bumper and rear diffuser? OEM? I have a 2016 IS 200T Fsport and wants to put a 2017 front bumper . does it require cutting?

Hi bro

So I did swap the front to 2019 but I have problem with the DRL. They don't work at night with the headlights , they only works when i turn off the headlights ( day time running )

Pictures attached showing the issue

How can I fix this ?

I purchased a front used bumper from a 17 yesterday. Will need to take it into shop and have it repaint. I will also need to get front grille items. in the future.
Got prices for the lights brand new without ballast.
ballast can be swaps from 2017 original LED’s headlights or purchased in US. Price is way high. Will need to save some money. Little steps.
Thank you all for looking. I’ll update once I get the parts.
I have a 2016 IS300 F-sport, do I need a 2017 bumper to make the transition to triple beams?
