Is there a way to default the heated steering wheel to on?
So Here in Chicago as our weather turns to the next wonderful season, I have to say I am enjoying the heated steering wheel option that came in my IS ((but I woulda never spec'd) more than I thought I would.
That said, while the heated and ventilated seats conveniently default to their last setting, the steering wheel is always off it seems to me, and I have to remember to push it on every time I driver in cooler weather.
So I was wondering, Is there a way to default the heated steering wheel it to on, or better yet it's last setting it was left in? I have the latest Techstream software.

I don't believe that there is a way to do that. The fortunate thing is that it heats up so quickly.

Does the heating element go all the way around the steering? I ask just cause in my NX it only covers 2/3 the steering wheel.
