IS250 idle issue?
Anyone have issues with the idle too low at a light? My rpm occasionally drops to 500rpm and boggs a little. I hope it’s not a carbon issue like the older generation!

What you're describing can happen to any vehicle depending on the cause.
The carbon issue from the previous generation caused misfire, codes, and/or limp mode when travelling at speed...not stopped at a light...so I think you are ok from that perspective.
What year is your 250?
How much mileage?
What type of fuel do you use?
Just some basic questions to narrow the cause.

I wouldn't worry about the carbon buildup issue just yet...at least not the 2IS issue.
With the mileage you have, might i suggest first cleaning the throttle body and adding a fuel injector cleaner at the next fill-up...assuming you haven't done either yet.
After that, then monitor the idle issue.
The throttle body cleaning is fairly easy, I'm sure there are many Youtube videos that will show you the DIY...even if it's a 2IS the engine is the same.
If you do try both items, report back as to how it's going.
