Yes, this is the 2GR-FKS.
My understanding of the difference is all in the valves. On the 2GR-FSE, both the intake and exhaust valves use VVT-i (Variable Valve Timing with Intelligence). On the FKS, they use VVT-iW (Variable Valve Timing Intelligent Wide) on the intake and VVT-i on the exhaust. VVT-iW is what allows the engine to run in the Atkinson Cycle under low load conditions.

When I bought the car, it said that it has 311HP on the spec sheet. And even according to the dealer there was a 5 hp bump.
I just want to confirm this; is a way to see the name of the engine, for example?
And if that is true, would that mean the car has the LSD? Sorry I haven't drifted the car yet *noob*

You can clearly see that the 2018 has notable physical differences.
I *was* going to purchase at Santa Monica Lexus but it didn't seem too much like they wanted to deal, negotiate, etc, so a Lexus dealer in Orange County not only delivered the car to me, the sales folks hung out for drinks for a couple hours while demo'ing the car
How long are you guys gonna go with no License Plates?!

Compared to the 2017? I don't see anything new.

But, of course, that wouldn't allow their silly marketing that claims things like it's more powerful than a "300HP" BMW turbo 3-liter, which is a bad joke.
