Here's my 2018 rear end

Manual mode is fine for "driving enthusiastically". Unfortunately the other 99% of the time I'm going to let the auto do it's thing, which is doing its best to keep the RPM's below 4000 RPM. Sheesh, even when accelerate "hard", it up-shifts, unless you floor it!

Could I please, Lexus, be allowed to feel the torque rise, to feel the engine really come-alive, as it does about 4000 RPM, without going all-out? I guess not.

^^ I have installed an "multi purpose" plastic bracket through the mesh with tie-wrap and then mounted the plate bracket covering the tie-wrap. The plate is still centered but just a little lower than where it would normally be mounted.

My 2017 is the 350 F sport with white exterior and red interior....

Hard to say since i drive hard thru the canyons in the morning in Sport+ mode. Then on commute home i'm stuck in bumper to bumper traffic. My Avg Fuel Economy gauge normally says 18-19MPG between fillups.

So, i was looking around my garage to see if i could find something i could use to help prevent the rear license plate from scraping the trunk. So, i found some home window foam weatherstripping.

I just cut 2 small pieces and placed them in each bottom corner of the plate. Now, when i mount my plate i don't have to worry about it scraping my trunk anymore.

Only time will tell if this foam weatherstripping will hold up over time....

All that's needed is a strip of velcro--you use the fuzzy part as the backing. You stick it ON the plate. The fuzzy part touches the trunk. And you use more strips on the frame--or in my case on my F Sport frame. So fuzzy velcro separates all the layers. used that on all my cars for years. The strip above is too thick and pushes the plate out making it obvious. My plate and frame are whisper quiet with every trunk shut (or subwoofer hit) haha

I needed mine to stick out a tad since i'll be adding a license plate frame to it soon. I tried using a thinner weatherstrip i had laying around and it didn't work well with the a license plate frame since the frame was still scraping my trunk.

What plate frame are you using? I have the Genuine Lexus F Sport frame and the velcro works perfectly. I'll snap some pics later when I do my spacer install. Or maybe saturday.
