Default worth the trade to a gla45?

Hey guys so i have a is350 f sport, and being the curious person i am started looking into new cars. I used to work for Mercedes so i have a weird connection with them where i wish to own one on day. I love my IS but this GLA45 has me on the fence.... for those of you who know about this car what is your opinion? worth the trade? I found that my Lexus is a lot nicer inside in terms of materials used and quality. but the 4cyl engine making 385hp in gla45 makes it so fun to drive. Here is a pic of the car, would love to hear your thoughts thanks.

Aesthetically, I really like wagons so I would say do it. You may miss the power of the 2 cylinders you're losing, but you certainly will appreciate the quickness from the horses you pick up. Interested in learning more about this car.

if it were a C43 AMG i would say absolutely, but honestly the GLA/CLA is a step down from your IS in interior design it looks super cheap inside, and it’ll definitely be more cramped than the IS

German cars are great, until the warranty expires.

I don’t like wagon like cars, but this is my personal preference. Anyway I would advise you to hold for now since MB are revising their cla/gla interiors to be similar to e class from design point. Look for the leaked images in the net and see if you like it or not.

Depends on your priorities. If you value interior quality and reliability more, stick with what you have. If you're after more power and don't mind downgrading on interior quality and taking a chance with MB reliability then by all means get the GLA. If you're leasing than meh, get the GLA.

Pretty nice looking wagon, and def a power upgrade and a blast to drive. However, I wouldn't want to own a MB, lease sure (If I had the money).

I would not trade the IS tho, it a nice and reliable car; which is one of the reasons I was drawn to purchasing my IS350 fsport.

let us know if you end up with the gla. When I was looking at the amg cars most dealers would not budge more than 2-3k off of msrp. If you are not stuck on the gla check out the c43 or even the c63.

Don't Do It! I bought the AMG45 and sold it a month later. The interior materials felt cheap for what I was paying for and the engine, yet very quick, wasn't everything I thought it was going to be. I agree with these guys. German cars are amazing, until their warranty is gone.

I own several Lexus so I know it's not that cheap to maintain. Who's behind this bogus listing anyways? Lexus is not near the bottom the of list for sure.
