Brakes on my other car were covered up to 36,000 miles by Nissan. And Nissan sucks at taking care of people.
BUT, maybe that was that was just the fluids and hardware and I misunderstood.
That's not a warranty claim, but likely a contractual agreement between the purchaser (you) and your particular dealer. If that's the case the dealer is paying for your brake pads, not Nissan. There are very few manufacturer that I'm aware of that includes brake pads as part of a factory backed "free maintenance" schedule as part of or combined with the new car warranty. BMW was the first, I think Jaguar offers it. But I don't think Nissan does (through Nissan). Some dealers of some brands often times offer stuff like that.
My particular Lexus dealer offers first oil change free. I'm sure many others do, too. But no brakes!
