On this drizzly morning here in Los Angeles, while in stop and go traffic, i noticed my front parking sensors going off only when i'm stopped behind cars that are black colored.

This happened on 2 separate black cars.

Anyone else notice this? Wondering if the GrimmSpeed license plate relocator has something to do with it...

The sensors work based on radar waves. They are cannot detect color. I would check if there's anything obstructing them.

I have read other owners having issues with the relocation kits and the sensors, some bent and moved the kit around until getting it to a sweet spot

Ya i had issues when i first installed the plate relocation kit. Then, i adjusted it to the furthest away setting from the parking sensor and it was happy again.

The parking sensor didn't act up until today when it started raining here in LA which is a rare occasion.... Wonder if the rain drops off the GrimmSpeed plate is affecting it since its so close to the parking sensors?
