Default 2014 or 2015 F-Sport?

2014 nebula gray w/ black interior 50k miles for $24k or 2015 atomic silver w/ red interior 31k miles for $27k.
Which to buy?

a little more info on the car and spec would be helpful making a choice. but if not picky on the color i would go with 2015 since its only 3k difference with that being 20k miles and one year up being a plus.

I would go with the 15. Not that much more, yet you get lower miles and a few additional improvements (faster nav, ventilated seats, matte black center console).

I know red interior is cool now, but so were bell bottom jeans..... I like the red, but some of my other friends... not so much. If you are going to sell it in a few years, I would lean towards the 2014.

so the 15 had matte black center console? is it due to the change of scratches?
what did the 14 have gloss black console?

that is true for black interior, but the red in our car is not really red which is why i love it so much compare to others. Its more of a mellow wine/maroon red

Yes, the '14 had a glossier finish to the center console and it scratched super easily. Not a huge deal, but I do think the matte finish on the 15s is an improvement and far more scratch resistant.

At those prices, definitely the '15. Unless you can negotiate the '14 down much lower.

2015, 2014’s seemed to have some issues that you shouldn’t have to deal with

Get the '15! More options than the '14! Better center console! Ventilated seats, heated steering wheel, etc. Let
us know how you make out!

Im kinda leaning towards the 15 too, but gotta see the red interior first, So I guess the + $3k on the 15 is reasonable enough.
Nebula and atomic are my 2 fave IS exterior..

Appreciate all the input...🙌

What are the differences in the consoles between 2014 and 2015. I wasn't aware that there was a change.

It's a bit tough to see in pictures. Much more obvious in person.

Here is the 2014 console. Note that while it's not a polished finish, it's fairly glossy. This made it very prone to scratching and a complaint among '14 owners.

Here's a picture of a 15 console. Notice how it's a matte/flat finish.

What problems did the 14's have? I'm in the market for a similar car. Thanks
