Question about battery replacement

I noticed a week or so ago that my car was a little sluggish when starting. When this happened in my last car (also after about 4 years) I had the battery tested and it was bad. I got it replaced and life went on.
So I head to the 'ole Auto Zone to get my battery tested and sure enough it showed as a bad battery. I ordered a battery on Monday and went to pick it up and have them install it for me today and the guy couldn't get the battery out.
It's super cold and I told him to put the battery in the trunk and I'll deal with it later.
Now, it's later....before I pop the hood and start tinkering around, does anybody have the simple solution for me so I don't have to get frustrated?? It looks like there is bracket on the side of the battery sleeve.
I would normally have my hubby help me, but, he's out of town and won't be back here for two weeks.
Any help is appreciated...

This sound bad the way I'm going to suggest this but just pry the little plastic loom holder away from the metal bracket and it will release. You will not damage anything. Of course make sure both terminals are off of the battery first.
