Default Dust in headlight housing?

Hello there everyone. I was coming home from work tonight with my high beams on and as I got out, I realized that there was a considerable amount of dust in my headlight housing. I was wondering if any of y'all have experienced this same issue, and if there's a solution or fix? I was thinking about blowing some compressed air inside the housing through the turn signal hole, but I wasn't sure. I don't want to cause any permanent damage to my headlights.

I took these after I wiped down the headlights.

Could be damage caused by road debris like fine rocks and gravel pits off the road, or maybe a dirt and chemical buildup. Hard to tell if its on the outside or inside.

Try to use regular toothpaste (not the gel type) and apply it on the headlight. Once finished rinse it off with some water. It may help and if it does you know its cloudiness on the lens and not behind it.

If you do a lot of freeway driving (60mph+), check your windshield, as in certain light it may look much the same - Lexus glass (and apparently headlight housing plastic) is speculated to be soft and prone to this fine pitting.

Crappy Windshield glass?
Aw damn, that's probably it. I drive on the freeway basically every day and my windshield looks awful; covered in pits, and a few chips. Lowkey disappointed in the quality of Lexus' glass and headlight housing materials.
