Default Prospective IS300 owner - Question

Hello everyone,

I'm looking to purchase a 2018 Lexus IS300 for my aunt, but have a budget of no more than $500 (taxes & fees included) per month, and can put up to $5000 down. Do you think this can be viable? If not, I may resort to purchasing a used IS. If you don't mind, I was hoping if you could also share what some of your monthly payment numbers are. Thank you! The IS is a beautiful car.

You might get just at $500 a month with $5k down if you secure a good interest rate. In my experience (I got my 2017 in December), the dealer was much less willing to work with me on a 2018 model but bent over backwards for a 2017 (close to 9k off MSRP)

I see. Lexus financing is advertising 2.9% for 60 mo and 3.9 for 72 mo. Is it possible to get a lower interest rate then that? My credit score is 760+. Thank you!

See what your bank gives you since your credit score is so good and assuming you've been with a bank for a while, they would take care of a loyal customer. Does it have to be a 2018?

No, I'd actually prefer it to be a 2017 if it's a new car, but that's hoping it'll be a better value-buy. I'll look into my bank. Thanks.

I just purchased my 2017 IS300 Awd FSport last month and I got 5000 cash rebate and 1000 customer loyalty cash rebate

The 2018’s at the time there was no 5000 rebate
