ISSUE: Passenger Seat Belt/Air Bag Light on...with NO passenger?
Hello guys,
I have a 2016 IS350 FSPORT, this is the first time this had occurred. Car is bought brand new, 27k miles odo right now.
I've dropped off my brother, turn off the car, and when I got back into the car, the passenger seat belt light/air bag stayed on and was chiming, but there was NO ONE or ANYTHING sitting on the seat. I had to buckle the seat-belt to stop the chime during my drive home.
Has this happened to anyone before?

I haven't had this happen to me personally, but I have heard of instances where the seat calibration has been undone due to a large individual sitting in the seat.
Essentially the seat thinks that someone is still sitting in it after they leave because the calibration has been screwed up.

I've pulled over, and sat in the passenger side for a few mins Turned off the car, and hop back into the driver seat. I guess my fat@ss had reset the sensors LOL.
