California owners - How much did you pay for your IS?
Hi everyone,
I know there's a thread where members have shared how much they have paid for their cars, but there are so many replies from many different places where obviously taxes differ.
I am currently in the market for a new LEXUS IS and I'm wondering how much you (California) resident paid out the door for? Please include MSRP and out the door price.
The best offer I have gotten so far for a 2018 Lexus IS 300 with navigation, comfort package, and parking assist:
MSRP: $44, 429
Savings off MSRP: $5,192
Sales tax: $3,737
Registration: $489
Out the door price after all taxes and fees: $42,459
Is this a good deal or should I keep shopping around?

42k and not even an F-Sport? Sounds high but then again, it's probably because you're getting a 2018 which just recently released.
Personally, I'd keep looking. Maybe even go for a 2017 F-Sport model, you may be able to score a good deal on one.

Thats more than ~10% off msrp which is a fair deal in this time of year. You could try to push to around~15% but idk seems like a stretch for a 2018.
EDIT: Where in CA are you located? I have connections with a Lexus in the Bay Area.

I got a decent deal in Nov 2017 for a '2018 iS 350 F Sport considering the car JUST arrived in the USA. I bought 2 cars and referred at least 4 friends to buy a car from a saleswoman in Woodland Hills, CA. PM Me if u want her contact:

Forgot the sticker price but paid 46.6k out the door, 2015 is 350, f-sport/navi. NGP/Rioja red, on ~06/2015, Lexus serramonte. Apparently NGP with red interior was very limited/sought after in my area. I believe a white/red or black/red was about ~45k if i remember correctly.
