Default 18x8.5 +35 Will it clear is350 front caliper??

Found out the hard way that 18x8 +40 won't clear the caliper. Found some 18x8.5 with +35 and want to be sure they'll fit before placing the order. Please help!

Some member run 19 x 8.5 +35 on the front.

It will actually completely depend on the wheel spoke/backface design. So maybe share what style wheel it is and other members can help you out. I got some 19x8.5 +36 Gramlights that did not clear due to too concave of a design.

That's what I was thinking. I can't get any wheel vendor to guarantee fitment because of the massive caliper. Thanks for the info!

What wheels are you running? Any chance you have a pic? What rear size/offset are you running?

By the numbers it should fit no problem, but wheel design and backset needs to be evaluated as well.
Let us know what kind of wheel it is and we can make a more informed response.
At those specs though, it would have to be some crazy design not to fit.

Typically, the wheel itself can have a huge effect on fitment. For example TSW Vales in a 18x8.5 should fit perfectly in a 40 offset in the front. If caliper fitment is an issue have you tried using a spacer? Do you have any wheel styles you like?

I already purchased Niche Misano M117 in 18X8 +40 for the front and 18X9.5 +40 for the rear. They seem like they would fit perfect but as stated, the spoke design interferes with the caliper on the front. I ordered 10mm spacers with new studs from protuninglab.com and am pretty sure they will fix the issue. Just wanted to find a definitive answer on some other wheel options that would fit. The vendor I spoke to had some ESR SR12s and I like the look but he wouldn't guarantee fitment which means I would have to pay return shipping and a 20% restocking fee if they don't fit. I wish I had somewhere local that had some wheels in stock that I could test fit before purchasing them.
