Invidia Q300 Axleback Question

i installed an invidia q300h axle back in early january. first impression, it was very quiet and i was pissed. 8 weeks later, it’s actually rather noisey. hilariously, i found it got louder everytime i drove it, its been about 8 weeks now.
ive heard another member on the street with the full system, that’s way too loud. give it about 500 miles / 3 tanks of gas and then decide if you want the midpipe.
keep in mind, cabin noise is much quieter as the lexus appears to be insulated from noise quite well. have a friend take it for a spin while you listen from outside (again, drive 500 miles first)
overall, im relatively satisfied. just wish it was a tad louder, but not catback loud. hope this helps, GL. .

Anyone else agree, their exhaust got louder in time?

The exhaust has fiber glass filings, after you break it in it will sound much nicer. The metal tempering will also make a difference in sound. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1KbV6uULhWI

I didn't pay attention to the box and can't find the H located anywhere haha. I really like mine q300, the sound is perfect not too loud and has a great deep tone.

After about a week of driving, I do think it is starting to get slightly louder!

this guy did a resonator delete with the axleback, i’d say it sounds pretty mean without having to buy a midpipe

Update: The Q300 has certainly become a little louder after driving on it for a week. Not much, but a little which is exactly what I was hoping for. I am just afraid mid pipes would become too loud for my DD taste.

A resonator delete would be getting it cut out of your factory midpipe. I wouldnt reccomend a resonator delete as it'd introduce alot more cabin drone. Aftermarket midpipes dont delete the resonators but rather the secondary cats.
if you really want to do a diy delete, then you'd need to cut your resonators off and then weld piping in it's place.
