Question Will OEM rims from an '08 is350 fit a '14 is350?

Hey everyone,

brand new to the forum, just picked up my 2014 is350 yesterday, I figure now with winter (hopefully) on it's way out that I try and pick up a winter setup on the cheap. Happened to cross paths with a guy selling his winter setup for his 2008 is350. My question is will they fit? They are 17" OEM rims with michelin xice winters on them (i can always get new tires) was really hoping the wheels would fit. He says they will clear calipers on an ISF so i'm thinking they should be fine. The dealer of course is unwilling to give me a straight answer saying they "might" fit...

Hopefully someone has the knowledge here.. it's a great deal for me if they fit of course.

Thanks in advance! Glad to be here. Still trying to get used to the fact that I own an is350, it hasn't sunken in yet lol.

they will fit 100% , 225/45/17 is the 2nd gen IS , the 3rd Gen is stagger setup with 225/40/18 Front and 255/35/18 Rear, for Winter yes 225/45/17 fit perfectly. you might lose a bit of handling but thats fine because its winter.

Definitely. I know enough to know to not take the dealer seriously everytime. They're programmed to tell customers certain things!
