20x10.5 +45 fitment
I got tired of trying to find similar spec wheels in the 80+ page on the after market wheel showcase
I purchased a set of wheels where the rears are 20x10.5 +45 and am looking for tire spec that will fit the car well. A buddy of mine is selling pirellis i want to pick up that are 255/35/20 and was wonder if that would fit
suspension (bags, rear camber arms, toe arm)

You could really stretch a 255/30/20 (which I don't recommend), or do a mild stretch on a 265/30/20.
But you have to consider what size tire you would be running on the front...especially if your IS is AWD.
You don't want too much of a difference in sizing.

Without considering fitment, your best chance of not completely killing the ride quality is Front 235/35/20 and Rear 265/30/20.
Will that fit without rubbing? At stock height, probably. With the car lowered, the front will likely be fine driving, rear might be iffy.
Personally i would bet money the rear will rub lowered.
You can see in my build thread what a 20X8.5 with a 235/30/20 looks like...pretty much like putting a black rubber band around the rim and calling it a tire lol
