as you all know our sound system is muffled when turning up the bass. I was thinking of cutting off the subwoofer from the stock amp and adding a independent amp to it to solve this issue along with a bass control ****.
Many thoughts on this?

 

That's a good idea. A lot of us have done that .
i myself left the stock subwoofer in place and tapped onto it
