Question Reasonable Price for a Used 2015 IS350 F-Sport? (in Norcal)

Hi All,

New to the used car market and am looking to buy a 2015 (or 2016) IS350 F-Sport, specifically in the SF bay area market. Most of the dealership listings here are around $32-33k with 25-30k miles, as both CPO and non-CPO. Considering KBB and other sites lists the trade-in value at $26-27k. Would $30-31k out the door be a reasonable (and realistic) price to try to aim for in negotiating for a non-CPO?

I understand that some cars may not be trade-ins and could be lease returns or auction bought, so I'm not sure how that may also affect pricing.

Thanks!

You can also do a google search for 2015 Lexus IS 350 f sport for sale to get more pricing data from various sources and locations. Once you find a car or cars worth inquiring about, ask the seller all those questions you posted, was the car a lease return, auction bought, crashed, maintenance records, etc, etc. If the seller resists in any way to answer questions or give information, move on. Also, a pre sale inspection by a Lexus tech (or some other qualified mechanic) is always to good idea (mandatory for some). Good luck - and happy shopping.
Thanks for your suggestions. It seems like most dealers around here are not willing to go much below their listing prices so I'm guessing the demand must be high. And unfortunately there are not many private listings on CL or AutoTrader/Cars dot com. 3IS owners must really love their cars.

Is this is So Cal or NorCal? SoCal should have the most selection but I'd look at all of Cali to find the right one. The issue may be that the 350 is kinda rare as most of the 3IS sold were the 250 and 200T

This is for Norcal. And that is true, there are a handful of 250s followed by 200ts. I also prefer to look at the car in person before buying so I'm limited to my region.
