So here is the story, I bought my 14 is250 base about a year ago. I know that it had a small accident that involved the front end with a previous owner. After a year I am noticing where the paint is pealing, which I am guessing is from that accident. Looks like whoever did the repair wanted it done as cheap as possible.

So that leaves me with a decision to make. I called a few body shops and they said to repaint the front bumper would be $600 for labor and paint. I have been pondering doing the conversion from ebay. They advertise painting the bumper for $350 and then the bumper conversion is $500ish. In your opinion which would you choose? Does anyone have experience with the paint service from ikonmotorsports? They claim a 5 year warranty. Does anyone know how fitment is?

$650 is a bit much to simply paint a front bumper. Could be labor. If you can, take the bumper off yourself and drop it off. The charge to paint a bumper should be $250-$350 range. I've been quoted by other good shops $250 if i drop it off myself.

I'd get more estimates.
