I did try the ones with the resistor in my 18 but it didn’t work from JDM, just so I’m clear you’re using two front and two rear no hyper flash? Correct? No modification at all? Could you repost the link of the exact ones you bought?
Ill give them a try, if no modification is needed only plug and play.
Thanks in advance

So I was following E46CT's LED conversion thread (great DIY btw) for the turn signals and it TURNS OUT that for the 2018 IS 300 F Sport you DO NOT need ANY resistors on the back or front. I installed the turn signal LED bulbs on all 4 corners and before I put them back into the light housings and I tried them out. I was pretty surprised to find there was NO hyperblink! I was pretty happy not having to splice into my wires. I also followed the rest of E46CT's DIY for the interior lights and everything came out perfect. The only thing I recommend is using different wedge bulbs than the one's suggested in the thread they aren't too bright, but if that's what you're going for they work pretty well and are inexpensive. Thanks again E46CT! I will post some pictures a bit later once it's dark out.
Hey Guys,
So I’m checking in regarding these led bulbs, as Flash5 mentioned the bulbs do work as plug and play, no modification or hyperblink, I’ve installed mines and I’m confirming they work as expected, as a side note I tried the led bulb in another car IS 250 2015 and guess what, they also worked fine, so at this point most likely the bulb has a built in chip to avoid the hyper flashing or is very well designed to avoid it.
Just wanted to let you know that the bulbs work perfect and also is a decent investment to change the look of those regular bulbs on your IS.
Thanks again Flash5, I tried 3 diferent bulbs before on my IS 350-18 and none of them worked.
Cheers

Awesome! Nice to hear they worked for you. Sounds like they must have a built in feature if they also worked on a 2015 IS. I guess these bulbs should be the go to for everyone.

Mine arrived today. Installed on all four corners and they work perfectly, no hyperflash. Huge improvement in the aesthetics of the car. I also did all interior LEDs which looks great too.

Awesome to hear! Glad you liked them. I also did the interior to bright white LEDs when I did the turn signal bulbs and the car looks so much better.

Hi - Were you able to install these without resistors for your 2015? I found another set on AMZ which states it has a resistor built in. But its $40 vs. $20. Would be great to know if the JDMASTARS were updated to work with 2015s.

When did you order yours? Not sure why at least one 2015 didn't require resistors...I think the thought is that maybe they updated it with built in resistors.
