Yes I ordered the same ones that were mentioned. I did not try all 4 just the front 2. Will try again.

You definitely have to do all 4 corners of your car or else it will hyperblink. Let us know if it works once you’ve installed all 4.

Dang that sucks. Well I guess your only option is to install resistors if you want LEDs.

Yes, all 4 of them, then I tried them, it’s weird, wondering if the bulbs has something to do, the same bulbs I’m using in my IS 18 worked fine in my friends IS 15.

That sucks, I’m gonna have to do some research why my LED bulbs worked in my friends car. Will post any finds.

Same ones I have. They hyper boink on a 2016 is300 if no resistor. They need a resistor on each light.

Just noticed, the taillights are a PITA to remove so I gave up. I was trying to find the 10mm bolts but didn't feel any, where exactly are they located?

There is a plastic piece on each taillight you remove and the bolts are there. I’m attaching a picture of them. Also make sure you put painters tape or something on the paint work around the taillight because you have to pull the taillights out with some force once you remove the bolts and you may accidentally scratch your paint if you don’t have anything to protect it.

Hi All,

I own a 2017 IS200t and purchased the JDM AStar bulbs because of this thread. I installed them on all four corners. The JDM AStars hyper blink! Was there a wiring change from 17-18?

I’m starting to think they did change the wiring or they changed the way the car senses whether a bulb is out or not.

Has anybody with a 17’ model confirmed the bulbs work for their cars? Need some confirmation before I jump the gun and buy something that won’t end up working for my IS
