I bought led turn signals about a month ago with build in resistor so it’s a true plug and play, no issues and works great.

What year is your car? Which lights did you buy?

Some people have reported no issues and some have had issues. It seems the bulb brand is the factor in this. All 2018’s have had no issues so I’m not sure at this point what the problem is. I’m convinced Lexus changed the electrical wiring for the headlights and taillights or something at some point.

It really should just be simple circuitry. No more flasher relay on the IS and just using electronic control modules. original bulb (7440) pulls 25w. Bulbs I ordered are 21w, who knows maybe that's the cutoff. So getting a 20w led bulb might be too low and will get hyperblink. If I take one out, I will get hyperblink, I like it, means it works if one bulb is out.

For some other bulbs that says resistors built in and no hyperflash. I don't know what led chips they are using and no watts info given. Even if they do give the wattage, I still don't know what resistor calculation they are doing.

At the end of the day, just get an led bulb that equals close to the normal 25w bulb.
