Resonable Estimates for Independent Mechanic
Hi,
Instead of going to dealer I plan to take it to a mechanic. For OEM fluid and parts could someone provide me an estimate of how much was charged of each below? Thanks
1.Transmission fluid service
2. Coolant service
3. Differential fluid service
4. Brake fluid service
5. Spark plug replacement
6. Sepentine belt replacement

Prices vary widely from dealer to dealer, but I’ve seen estimates for brake fluid change from $80-$140. IMO overkill, and you’re better off doing it yourself. Same goes for the spark plugs. Not sure about the others.
