DAMAGED: Ripped Rear wheel well liner..
Hi All,
Idk how this happened... but my rear passenger wheel well liner came loose and ripped.
my rear must had picked up rocks and broke off some tab that holds the liner together.
Then my tire decided to eat it.
is it okay to drive? Cost to fix?

Take the wheel off to get a better idea what's going on. Maybe you can macguyver a fix. nobody's really going to look at it. or at least push it back with your hand so it doesn't look weird.
and yep you can drive it like that. nothing will hurt. but i'd first just try and tuck it back in with your hand first.

Should be able to shove it back together roughly and zip tie any broken retaining clips for now. Complete wheel liners are fairly cheap and easy to replace. I did one on our old rav4 for all of $30-40 with parts from rockauto.

I've looked like a dummy doing this at my work parking lot.
But, the bottem tab is broken. So I used blue tape the edges of the liner to keep it down, and from flapping while driving.
The middle portion of the liner is ripped.. tucked it in a little. Hopefully this part doesn't flap and get in the way when driving
Going into the dealer for a fix later in the week.

Anyone know the PART# for OEM, PASSENGER (LEFT) REAR Wheel Well Liner?
I would probably just need the carpet/fabric liner piece, and not the whole housing.
*Is it bad that I am somewhat hearing rocks hitting the inside of the rear bumper?*
Notice this when I was driving home

Just have it replaced. You don't want that thing gets loose again and damages your tire.

Hope the dealer doesn't charge you an arm or a leg. You can likely get that used on ebay and install it yourself... but if its a large part it may not ship well. maybe they can fold it up? check ebay at least before spending $120 on essentially a $2-to-manufacture part. Esentially piece of paper thin abs plastic. Unless it's that carpety stuff... i actually haven't looked under there in a while lol. either way, used is a WAY better value for something like that.

I had the same issue happened to me two weeks ago. Couple tabs were broken and the fender liner was scraping my right rear tires. I ordered a new part from LexusPartsNow.com for $118.

Both my rear recently got damaged, ripped from inner treads. Getting fitted tomorrow morning, 4 Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires. $560 including balance and rotation.
