Have you thought about adding a capacitor to help? They basically store power and keep in in reserve to help even out the load on the battery and alternator.

Yeah I honestly think this would be a better and easier way not to mention cheaper to help with the stereo system.

Im running a capacitor already. And ive done the big3 upgrade. With the amount of power the amps pull there is still a drop in power. An upgraded alternator would fix this issue.

Have you considered adding a dedicated battery for the system? I went this route instead of the HO alt or cap. Shop put it in the driver side corner of the trunk. Solved all dimming issues completely.

Still looking for high output alternator. Noone i have found makes one for the 2016 is200 . Running a 3000watt wolfram amp and the dual 1 ohm au12 at half ohm load. Big 3 is installed and a stinger spv44 is in trunk. Still too much amp draw for the stock battery.going to install larger battery under hood but really need to find alternator to keep things chatged up.

1000 farad xs power superbank works well for me. Can't get my voltage past 13.8 unfortunately. I believe it's computer controlled but I do not have any lights dimming. I'm running at Taramps HD 5000 and a 4 channel amp with 2 10's.
