Many suggest 2IS 17" wheels for a potential square winter wheel setup for the 3IS. Do the 1IS 01-05 IS300 17" wheels work as well? I came across information on my.is that they are 17" x 7", +50mm offset, and weight 23lbs.

If you don't mind wading through the BS there are a couple of 3IS groups on facebook that I have seen linked here.
I usually watch my local Craigslist and and the used offers on ebay. I find that sellers with "Buy it now or best offer" on ebay have the best deals. There's a set of RSR down springs for $200 right now. I'd shoot them an offer for $150 and hope they counter somewhere in the middle. Who knows- maybe they'll take that $150 =)
Is this safe to use on F Sport wheels? I know people have had issues with cleaners stripping/leaving marks on them. I have a 2016 IS 300, if that helps.

Without commenting on the product you are asking about, I would consider a different question. What is the finish on the rims?
Regardless of the material the rim is made of, a product like the above will be going on the finish of the rim.
F Sport rims are hypersilver in color, which is achieved by powdercoating the rim black and painting it silver afterwards.
So the finish of the rim is paint, which you would be applying the product to.

Thanks for the explanation on the rims/color/process, Sasnuke. Makes sense now.
Definitely do not use metal polish on painted surfaces you'll F it up fast.
just use traditional light duty paint polish. i used an all in one chemical guys polish and sealant on my F Sport wheels and they came out looking new. applied by hand. treat your wheels like the paint on your hood.
A bit new here. Thinking of joining the Lexus family.
While shopping I noticed how rare the Chateau interior is. And I've never seen it on IS350 F-Sport AWD. Only on RWD. Is that a rule that you will not see it on AWD or just luck?
Couple questions....Do you know if 2017 IS350 windows come with factor tint?
If I do illegal window tint (ie 35% where the law is 50%), will it void the warranty?
If they come tinted, it's probably dealer-installed. At least, that was the case with mine.
I doubt tint would be a problem for your warranty unless it somehow interfered with the window regulators.
Can anybody tell me if this is supposed to be there? It's the black plastic cap below the rear door hinges. 2019 IS350 AWD F-Sport, if it matters. Thanks.
