Yeah that seems logical, I'll hold off on the spark plugs till 40k. I think my immediate next "mod" will be to replace the LCA bushings with RR racing ones. Just to be preemptive seeing as the biggest issues are the LCA bushings and the AMP going out (mine has been flawless so far *knock on wood*).

Do you have the dual LED headlights? If so, I believe the bulbs themselves are not replaceable.

Check that post and let me know what you think. You can just look at the lights and see which ones you have.

Quick question that might have been covered previously. My car is a 2016 IS300 AWD F-sport. I just returned from a 3 week vacation; car wasn't run/started during that time. When I got home, car started right up--no battery issues/etc. However, the radio/navigation/map system went through a system reload on start-up. I forget the exact wording on the screen. But basically, it rebooted/relaunched.
Is that normal? I remember reading that will happen when the battery is dead/replaced, but I had no power interruption. No issues after reboot, but I'm curious as to the reason.
Thanks...

Thank god for this thread because I'm about to post some really simple questions. Recently picked up a 2014 IS 350 F Sport with 26k miles. The previous owner babied this thing but I'm still trying to get all the maintenance done and be preemptive (part of me thinks I'm overthinking some things). I've done the front rotors/pads, alignment, and got an oil change and full inspection (topped of fluids/checked all levels) at my local Lexus dealership. Everything came back with no issues.
Now I'm reading up on spark plug replacement, I see some threads saying 40k and others saying 60k then some saying to just run it until you see noticeable affects (lower gas mileage,etc...). My question is, should I worry about the spark plugs right now or have them changed for peace of mind? 26k miles isn't too high but the car is a 2014 but I know it really depends on the mileage. I usually get like this when I buy a car, I want to change everything so I know it's brand new and I have nothing to worry about but it can be a burden because as the old saying goes "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."
Also, I see the dealership used OW20 synthetic oil instead of 5W30, is this fine? I saw a thread where it said "0W20 is only recommended for 2014+ IS350 engines." Any input is appreciated, thanks!

Still, 0W-20 should be ok if you change it every 5000 miles or less. I run 5W-30 Motul Eco-Lite in my IS350 because it's a true full synthetic and it has an additive that keeps the metal coated even after the oil has drained into the pan (Motul gives it a specific name, Ester Core or something).

So, to answer your question, no. The car is working as intended! Just enjoy it.
