I'll admit, I am a complete control freak over my car and operating it. Over the decades, I have discovered I have better control over the car, then letting auto features take over (cruise control, transmission shifting, braking, etc). But based on the comments here, I will certainly give the auto wiper feature a try. Thank you.

Random question. I'm seeing some of the newer Lexus SUVs (F-Sport) that come stock with the driver and passenger head rests that have the F-Sport logo "indented" or molded into the headrests. Does anyone know if you could purchase those separately and if they would fit 2018 IS front and passenger seats?

Not sure if anyone has tried this - not looking for those vinyl decals or reflective stickers that I've seen on eBay or Etsy.

We’re getting a second Lexus to complement my IS.
So I have a question…

What’s the plural form of Lexus?

Default 2016 is200t fuel

Lets just say that 87 octane has been put into the 200t for years. What would happen if you were to start putting the recommended 91 octane in the car after using 87 for a long time? Would it be better not to make the switch or would it benefit the vehicle?

You should be fine using 91 octane. In fact, it might get better fuel economy and output more power than before, when the ECU adapts to the new fuel.

I’ve successfully used this on the pinch welds on my IS and other cars with no problems.

I haven t been under mine yet as I only have it a week but I KNOW there are other spots for jacking. Maybe a search here or on the web. The owners manual mat even have it.

I am looking because I saw it already but can t remember where. There are some front and rear lift areas if you have a floor jack. I ll post it(if) when I find it again.
