Hey everyone

New member from Boston Mass area, and first time Lexus owner!

Bit of background...

I had been looking for a new sport/sedan for over a year and mostly just bmw/audi's. Couldn't fine one that I absolutely loved, until a friend recommended I drive a Lexus- humored him and two weeks ago drove a is350 f sport at my local Lexus dealer.. Loved it. Interior, comfort, quality, handling, looks, and the excellent record of reliability for sure helped. Fast forward to last week, sat down with a sales guy and had them get me the Nebula gray/red interior f sport I wanted, and they shipped it up from PA.

Took delivery 7/3/18 and already put 250 miles on her, and loved every mile, definitely a Lexus owner for life now. Below are a pic or two. Have a list of mods ill do before the winter, but going to enjoy her stock for now!

Congrats! Nice!

BTW, did you compare an IS300 AWD Fsport in your test drives?

Congrats and nice pickup. What kind of mods are you into?

If you're into functional or subtle little mods that make a difference, I'd suggest 4GS (4th generation GS) door seals, F Sport air filter (doesn't require oiling) w/ charcoal filter delete (free), eBay door hinge covers (like 5 bucks for a set?),clear bra sticker delete (trunk/doors)

Can't think of much else right now but the forum can help you =)

Congrats and welcome! Glad you made the decision easily after trying the Lexus. Sounds similar to my experience in a way - though, I drove the Lexus first, and then the BMW and Audi didn't measure up. I kinda knew I wanted it as soon as I tested it.

thanks for the input!

I think the first thing is full exhaust system/headers air intake and a tune.

Beautiful car! I was torn between Atomic Silver and Nebula Gray. I ended up with 2015 Atomic Silver IS350 F-Sport, and I love it, but sometimes wish I had the depth of a deeper color like Nebula Gray. Congrats!

I had the same dilemma. I originally wanted Nebula Gray. I test-drove one in Nebula Gray with the Rioja Red interior. Loved that spec, but I wasn't 100% sure I wanted to pull the trigger. I came back a couple of weeks later for a second test drive, and it was an Atomic Silver with black interior. I started to like the Atomic Silver a bit. Plus, they didn't have the Nebula Gray one anymore. I asked if they had an Atomic Silver with Rioja Red, and it turned out they did.
