Default Coming over from the other side

Hey guys! Been about two years since I last logged into this forum. I had a 2002 LS430, owned it for a few years but ended up selling it. It was my first car I ever purchased and I loved driving it. Funny thing was I had both coilovers and brand new WEDS Mavericks 709s ready to be installed but didn't get a chance to put em on before I sold my car. Sold the coils and wheels and moved onto a sport bike (08 R6). The time has come for me to get back into owning a Lexus as I feel I have "unfinished business." After doing some research I decided on a 3rd gen IS. I was stuck between an IS 250 or an IS 350. I read on other threads of IS 250 owners regretting not purchasing a 350 off the bat (not to say that the 250 isn't a great car because it definitely is). As of now I am definitely leaning towards an IS 350, but the F sport model is not in my budget. In my area (Hawaii) a pre owned base model 350 will run around $30k and an F Sport 350 will be about $35k (both dealership listed prices). So a base model IS 350 will have to do. I am looking at a 2015 model right now, just wanted some input from some owners regarding if there are any major problems that have arisen yet. I have seen that there are no recalls, read about some electrical problems regarding the nav screen and some rattles here and there but nothing too problematic. Any advice or help would be appreciated!

I have almost 50k on mine and not a single rattle. The only issue is that i drive it like i stole it so it requires new tires after 20k. My F-sport brakes only last about 15k. I get only 17-18 mpg too due to driving it hard. The car is rock solid as I have redlined it daily and it still feels brand new. Best car i've ever had.

Bought my car (2017 Lexus IS 350 F-Sport AWD) earlier this year and am loving every minute of it. I currently have about 4,000 miles on the car and have not experienced any issues. Traded in a BMW and this is hands down the better overall car - no regrets.

I own 2015 IS350 RWD (luxury options, not F-sport), a super car in every respect. The only minor problem encountered was that automatic wipers stopped working, the dealer fixed it quickly - he said the sensor was dirty and he wasn’t sure how the dirt got there. No rattles, great ML sound.
