Rear speaker deck vibration with subwoofer
Decided to add a little more punch to the audio and installed a 12" sub in the trunk. Even with the amp/bass **** turned way down, I'm getting a lot of vibration from the rear speaker deck behind the back seats. I'm going to dynamat this as much as possible, but I don't think it will completely eliminate the vibration. Much of the rattle that I am hearing is coming from the plastic that covers the speakers, mainly the large portion in the center. Any ideas how to eliminate this? Searched around and didn't find any relevant discussions.
Also related, the front doors vibrate at the window buttons/CF trim around them. This is from the door speakers themselves and not the sub. Anyone have experience eliminating this as well? Going to pull the trim and place a small amount of dynamap underneath, but the window button portion itself trends to vibrate as well.
Cheers!
