Default Stock 2014 - IS 350 (Baseline Dyno Run)

Took it to the Dyno for a baseline run.. (or just for fun)

Car is stock with only a high flow air filter installed.

Does it look normal? isn't a 278 whp too high for a stock car?

Seems a bit optimistic, particularly the torque. Either way your baseline by itself isn't useful. The only way this becomes useful is if you do mods and compare the before and after with new subsequent runs. the # could be 1 hp or 1,000,000 hp and either wouldn't be more correct than the other until you get some additional runs w/ mods in.

Thank you, I see what you mean.. So I guess this will only be useful when I start installing the mods.. My initial thought it that it’ll give me an idea if the car is still up to the factory specs after 4 years on the road..

Btw, Do you happen to know how much is the drivetrain power loss for the 3is RWD?

I don't know. I believe only Toyota would know exact figures. But the general estimate for a RWD car has traditionally been 15%.
