Sorry, new to the whole LED scene. Came from an Acura TSX that came standard with HID.
But just recently bought a 2018 Lexus is300 f sport. It says the headlight bulbs are LED’s and I was wondering if it’s possible to switch them to a bulb that will give off a 8k HID look.
If there is already thread about this then please link it! Couldn’t find anything on this topic

Unfortunately this is not an easy task unless you want to do some extreme headlight makeover. If you browse through ebay for the lexus dual LED projectors (there are some posted), you will see that the projector and bulbs are all one set. I know the lexus had the HID version as well in the base model. You might be able to replace the LED headlights with the HID ones and then switch the bulb to 8K. LED is not a scene. It's simply an automotive lighting standard. There's no "bulbs" in your car. It's an on-chip LED driven by a controller. Simply put you are never ever touching or ever modding that headlight. It's absolutely premium and fully optimized the way it is.

When I'm driving down the highway at night, every friggin sign within what feels like a mile lights up and tints blue from these headlights.

To answer the OP's question, no you cant change it unfortunately. At least not without extensive amounts of modifications.
If I'm honest, I dont like the LED headlights in my car. Yeh they're brighter than halogens, but compared to some of the best factory xenons, they just cant keep up. The light isnt anywhere near as wide, and color isnt perfect for every day use. Some light disappears in wet conditions. My xenons on my wrx throw light further, wider, and are brighter than the LEDs on my Lexus. Before anyone says anything, yes they are proper xenons with properly designed housings.

Yeah the lights right now are good and bright. But I just feel like they don’t go out as far and the brightness is pure white. Was trying to get more of a tint of blue in there.
Anyways, thanks for letting me know we can’t mod our headlights!

Love our LED headlights and DRL. Perfect temp.
Need to find how I'd get my fogs to match...exactly. I've seen some discussion but nothing conclusive. I'm over the classic looking yellows I have there now.

You could still get the base HID headlight assembly and switch over to whatever colored bulb you want.
The only that annoys me about the LED headlight is that when you have the high beam ON, there is a bright line that separates low and high beam. kinda takes your attention off as you drive and that bright line moves.
